Bonus Episode - Guesting on Hyjact'd!
July 12, 2009 09:04 PM PDT
I recently was a guest panelist and reviewer on the Hyjact'd Anime Review podcast! We reviewed the TG / CD Anime Classic I My Me! Strawberry Eggs live, and I had a blast doing it! Also got to prove that I can Skype without my bandwidth choking too much! I'm not hosting the file on my host, so you won't actually get the file in your podcatcher - You will need to download it manually using the links I've provided below. Sorry for the inconvenience! Episode 22, Experimentation! This episode has a lot of new stuff -- New segments, new format, all kinds of goodies! I debut 2 new segments, Sabrina Takes on Podcasts, and the Tranny Take on Movie Reviews! Be aware that there's some sound quality issues with this episode, but the source of the problems have been found and eliminated, but rather than re-record, I opted to get the episode out as quickly as possible. I have started a new twitter solely dedicated to the podcast, and it is linked below: http://www.notlp.com

ETA: 02/23/09 Thanks to Sparrow over at The Talking Tranny Forums (http://talkingtranny.com/smf) for pointing out that the download for this episode got broken at some point. I've corrected the issue and the episode should be downloadable again! So.. Have I podfaded? Should I just hang up the 'ol microphone? Well, take a listen and tell me what you think! Other stuff, including an announcement of a forthcoming interview, and some other not-as-pleasant stuff as well. Enjoy!

Okay.. this two part thing isn't working. I'm gonna try a format switch to see if I can get episodes out more regularly and on time. So I'm gonna try and quit putting so much into each episode and instead maybe do a weekly smaller episode of what I've been going through each week. Think it'll make it much more manageable. Anyways.. I recorded what was going to be the "first half" of Episode 19.. umm.. a couple of weeks ago. And then all the stuff I wanted to say for the second half got pushed back.. leaving part one to collect dust. Well, rather than continue to wait and wait.. I figured I'd put the first half out as Episode 19, and then put out the "second half" as Episode 20 and start from there with these smaller, bite-sized episodes. So.. umm.. enjoy! Okay.. so I'm back from New Jersey, and I've finished the show. Things have been up and down a bit. This show is interesting because I recorded the first part in January, and the second part in February! So it's sort of like a big double-ep! Show notes: http://www.clawcast.com

Noticed that I typed up the Ep 17 Pre-Show Blurb on the Sabrina Talk 1 year anniversary.. So Sabrina Talk's been around for an entire year! That makes Ep 17 really Episode "One" of Season Two! Gonna update some things, look at where Sabrina Talk is headed. Show notes: What is Furry?

After a long hiatus.. Sabrina Talk returns.. unfortunately not on the best note.. But return nonetheless. No news this time, just a long rambly "where I've been and what I've been up to." Show. Nothing special, and not the greatest show I've ever done, but it is what it is. Hope you enjoy it, and hope this harkens to future shows and getting back on that train a'rollin'. Episode 15 - Long Awaited Updates & Special Guest!
July 05, 2007 07:58 PM PDT
Okay.. So here's the loooooong awaited Episode 15. No excuses on my part, except having too many commitments right now and being mentally screwed in the head. 'Course, that leads me to having crap to talk about for the next episode, I suppose.. Anyways, in this episode in the first half I get back to my audio-blogging roots and talk about me and my life and update stuff. Second half is a surprise guest for you, let me know what you think! -Sabrina Episode 14 - Browncoats and Second Life, Oh My!
May 14, 2007 08:43 PM PDT
Long Overdue.. Sorry for the wait. I talk about some of my fandoms, Browncoats and Second Life, due to requests from friends to talk about those things.. Also talk about my life a bit, and some stuff I saw in the news. Show Notes:

BREAKING BEWS: News: If the show continues to grow, I will need more space to store shows and more bandwidth per month. Currently, I have used almost 1/3 of my current storage space for files, and I will already need to downsample my shows to reduce the bandwidth and storage needs. I will also be recording future shows most likly at 64kbps mono settings, again to save space and bandwidth. However, I suspect that may not be enough, and that I will have to soon upgrade to a a "pro" account. The free accounts seem to have been designed for shows much shorter in length, and I simply will need the extra storage capacity and bandwidth. The advanced statistics and options won't hurt either. If, for some reason you feel so inclined, I do have a paypal donation button on the page over to the right if you'd like to help. Sabrina Talk is a free show, and will always remain a free show, but I certainly won't turn down donations for any reason. (If you want to donate clothes, shoes, or makeup, contact me for a mailing address.. ::wink:: ) Also, I'd like to remind you that I still have the voice comment line at 206-350-CDTG (206-350-2386) and if you'd like to call and leave me a message, I'd love to hear from you! Calls may be played on the show, but if you request your call not to be aired, they won't. Also, I now have forums for you to discuss the show, give me feedback, or converse with other listeners! The first ever "test" show of Sabrina Talk! This is the first I've recorded, and hope to gauge listener response. I talk about my take on TG political activism, a little about myself, and Second Life. The music in the intro is by The Barbarians, the first break song is "Throw me a curve" by the Go-Go's, and the second break song is Second Life (That's Where I Want to Be) by Niko Donburi. Feel free to leave comments or email me at sabrinageek@podomatic.com! |
Podcast SummarySabrina Talk is an audio blog that talks about whatever I feel like talking about in the transgender (trans), gay, lesbian, and bisexual communities, all from the perspective of an overweight, midwestern middle-aged transgendered person. GLBT About SabrinaI'm a transgendered girl who was born and raised in the "upper" midwest, I guess you could say. I'm into computers, and geeky stuff, like sci/fi, horror, fantasy, gaming, video games, b-movies, fandom, and so on. I adore cyberpunk and virtual reality. I'm also into anime and other japanese related fandoms. I love Joss Whedon and Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly/Serenity. I love Second Life. What does that have to do with being transgendered? Absolutely nothing, but it -is- a part of who I am. I am transgendered. I am a geek. I am a Browncoat. I'm a resident of Second Life. But I am so much more than the sum of my parts.
